Stewed Fruits


  • 1 Cup Prunes
  • 1 Cup Apricots
  • 1 Large Honey Crisp  Apple Peeled and cubed into large chunks
  • 1/2 Cup Amaretto Cherries With syrup
  • 2 Cinnamon Sticks


  • Place all contents into a medium deep pot and cover with water.
  • Bring to a boil for 5 minutes.
  • Then simmer until softened and the liquid is a syrup like consistency (roughly 20-30 minutes).
I like to pour  over Greek yogurt and oatmeal.
